Please note: We do not offer a next day delivery service. For our delivery schedule, please see below. All our fresh goods are delivered using a next day service, but this is from date of dispatch, not date of placing the order.
Our courier is Parcel Force, who is outside of our direct control. At Christmas, due to the number of parcels being delivered, and risk of poor weather conditions, we cannot guarantee your order will be delivered by Parcel Force before 9am or before noon.
Letts Ltd and its employees cannot be held responsible for our courier’s failure to deliver to the specified time due to adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control. In these instances, we will however make our best efforts to correct the problem. Please contact us at email@example.com to discuss your concerns.
We cannot guarantee a delivery service for Christmas Eve.
Hampers containing fresh items can only be delivered on Thursday 17th December to ensure their fresh produce will last throughout the Christmas celebrations.
All ambient products will be dispatched as soon as an order and payment is received. Any orders placed containing a mixture of fresh produce and ambient products will be dispatched on the customer’s preferred Fresh Delivery date.

Orders are usually dispatched within 3-4 working days from the date of the order being placed, the following being the average dispatch schedule:

In any event orders will be delivered within 30 days of the date of the Dispatch Confirmation (the date on which we email you to confirm our acceptance of your order), unless there are exceptional circumstances. In the event that we are unable to meet estimated dispatch dates because of exceptional circumstances, we will contact you with a revised estimated dispatch date.
To UK mainland addresses, a single delivery of items other than large heavy orders (particularly wine and bulky homeware items) will be charged at £9.00 for pre-noon delivery and £16.00 for a pre-9am delivery which is for next day (from date of dispatch not date of order) courier service to ensure freshness of products. Some large heavy orders, particularly wine and bulky homeware items cannot be delivered using our next day £9.00 or £16.00 delivery service. Orders of this nature will be contacted to discuss alternative delivery methods and cost before order is dispatched. Please note, due to the delivery being by way of third party courier we cannot guarantee delivery before the specified time. The Orangery also cannot be held liable for failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our control.
Delivery charges are for one delivery to any single mainland United Kingdom address. This excludes the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scilly Isles, some remote areas of Scotland, and the Scottish islands. Some products, particularly fresh foods, may not be able to be sent to these locations due to transit times. If it is possible to arrange delivery to these areas due to the product in question, a surcharge may be payable for deliveries to these locations.
To follow up on an order delivery please contact firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible after the expected delivery time. Standard delivery conditions are delivery before 1pm following day of dispatch. Other timings are available based on payment of a small additional fee.
Receipt of delivery
All deliveries require a signature at the point of receipt. If the delivery service is unable to obtain a signature because the recipient is out, a card will be left so that a re-delivery or collection from a local depot can be arranged. If you need to alter the address for delivery prior to dispatch, please e-mail email@example.com. Please note, for fresh food deliveries it is recommended that the package is delivered to an address where it can be received, as products held in postal depots cannot be guaranteed to be refrigerated whilst being held. We can not offer an International Delivery Service for online orders. This includes deliveries to the Republic of Ireland and The Channel islands.
The very nature of our produce – fresh and seasonal – requires it to be delivered on time and to a cost favourable to our customers. Unfortunately, international deliveries are proving unreliable and too costly and we have had no option but to not include this service. We apologise for the inconvenience.
We cannot deliver fresh produce overseas. Ambient overseas deliveries may be possible. Please contact email@example.com. These will be on an as-quoted basis and we can advise you, but it may mean that they will have to re-contact you with the cost of shipping. Overseas orders placed on the website will not be processed.
